Everybody knows how to put four elephants inside a VW Beetle. But how about fitting an entire test track inside a single VW truck?
"Test Track" – created by AlmapBBDO – proves that it can be done. For the spot, a test track was custom built to be functional for performance and, when disassembled, to fit inside the cargo compartment of the vehicle. All obstacles were projected and built according to a volumetric study. The assembling of the parts – shown in fast-forwarded reverse – was all choreographed following the structure of Korsakov's song "Flight of the bumblebee". To get it right, the truck had to be loaded 37 times. The making of shows the details of the production design.
