Simple Wish

Between end of year accounting, last minute new business pitches and the general holiday madness, finding time for an agency to say thanks to its clients, employees and partners can be a challenge.

That’s why this year, a creative team at Lewis Communications (the agency behind award-winning work for The Kentucky Bourbon Trail and C Spire) leveraged the growing powers of AI tools to create a Christmas short that looks and feels like some of the most iconic animated holiday films of old.

Titled “Simple Wish,” this short features everything an advertising insider could hope for during the festive season—dancing robots, strategic planner elves, yetis, focus group tests, blowtorches, and most importantly … a sincere message of well wishes and cheer.

The film was developed quickly using a script from Lewis, with the team creating the characters and scenes in Gemini and then animating them with Google Labs "Flow" (Veo 3.1 w/ audio). They also used ElevenLabs for the VO and all the pieces assembled in Adobe After Effects.

The film will be distributed to Lewis’ network via email, as well as the agency’s organic social channels.
