Description

Shar3na (Our Street) is a pedestrian safety awareness campaign designed to encourage safer behaviors among pedestrians in Egypt, with a primary focus on Generation Z. The campaign addresses common unsafe practices such as ignoring pedestrian traffic lights, crossing while distracted, avoiding pedestrian bridges, and waiting for transportation in dangerous locations. Through humor, relatable everyday situations, and bold visual storytelling, Shar3na makes road safety more engaging, memorable, and relevant to young audiences.

Inspired by the streets of Egypt, the visual identity combines hand-drawn illustrations with vibrant colors to create a friendly and approachable campaign. Shar3na was developed as a complete 360° campaign, including a brand identity, awareness posters, TV advertisements, billboards, a brochure, an interactive website, an educational board game, awareness cards, stickers, and promotional merchandise. The project demonstrates how design can influence behavior and raise awareness through multiple communication touchpoints.

This student campaign titled 'Shar3na-شارعنا' was published in Egypt in July, 2026. It was created by ad school: MSA University. This Design, Digital, and Print media campaign is related to the Education, Public Interest, and Public Utility industries and contains 23 media assets.
