When scrolling becomes real, magic happens. For Pinterest's return to Coachella, "Ready, Set, Remix" became the festival's style headquarters, where Gen Z turned their saved Pins into real-world looks.
Challenge:
Pinterest needed to evolve from digital inspiration to real-world style authority at music’s biggest fashion moment. With 45% of Coachella searches on their platform coming from Gen Z style-seekers, they needed a physical experience that felt as personal and discovery-driven as their app—while capturing content that would fuel social feeds long after the desert dust settled. In a festival landscape crowded with brand activations, they needed to stand out while staying true to their unique position at the intersection of aspiration and attainability.
Solution:
NVE created a dreamlike “Desert Mirage” environment where Pinterest’s trend forecasting came to life through immersive style stations. Festival-goers stepped into a life-sized mood board complete with celebrity styling experiences, personalized beauty looks, and trend-remixing stations. The butterfly-themed entryway became the weekend’s most photographed spot, while inside, stylists helped guests discover their festival aesthetic through customized mood boards that connected digital inspiration to real-world expression—proving Pinterest isn’t just where style starts, it’s where it comes to life.
