For over a century, Q-tips® has been the champion of the tiny details. But to disrupt culture, this 100-year-old icon needed to go big. Literally.
3Headed Monster engineered the Quge-tip: a massive, six-foot swab designed to dominate the holiday gifting conversation. A product this ridiculous demanded an equally unhinged launch. Enter Bruce Neptune, a fictional pitchman who debuted the behemoth in a retro, late-night infomercial parody. The bit extended to the physical packaging, featuring personal notes from Neptune himself.
To ignite the hype, we didn't just seed the product; we sparked conversations with influencers and heavy-hitter brands like Doritos and Pine Sol. The result? A 'Quge' cultural moment for an overlooked bathroom staple, selling out the entire limited run in under 24 hours.
