The North Carolina School Boards Association (NCSBA) is on a mission to amplify this message, and is doing so through its “Public Education Does the Public Good” campaign created by Baldwin&—the North Carolina-based independent agency that specializes in building brands that make a difference.
The campaign, aimed at garnering support for public schools across North Carolina, emphasizes the need for well-funded public schools, highlighting their advantages to not only students but the entire community. Focused on reminding residents of the foundational role strong public schools play, the campaign acknowledges the benefits of a well-educated community, and shines light on the challenges public schools face, such as low teacher pay.
Baldwin& brought this initiative to life through a lively animated video spot with original music, social media and web assets, and design work on pro-bono billboard spaces.
Leveraging staff side hustles to boost creative.
Thanks to Baldwin&’s distinct ethos of embracing its team members’ side hustles and extra-curricular talents, Baldwin& contributed to the creative in unique ways, with lyrics for the video jingle penned by Baldwin& Senior Project Manager Tim Mislock and illustrations drawn Baldwin& Studio Artist Ian Westrand.

Bringing the visuals and music to life
Baldwin& completed the animation by partnering with production company Awesome Inc. and Ghidrah Music for music composition and performance.
