Description
Sometimes the best way to reach people is to meet them where they already are - literally.
That's the thinking behind CityUniversity of Seattle's latest street-level activation, developed by Copacino Fujikado.
Building on the success of their "This Is Your Sign" campaign, the agency took the message directly to Seattle's neighborhoods with a guerrilla-style approach.
Inspired by classic "lost pet" flyers, the campaign features 2,500+ tear-away posters placed across Seattle neighborhoods, including Northgate, Magnolia, Beacon Hill, the Central District, West Seattle, and Belltown. But instead of missing dogs and cats, these signs ask pedestrians if they've "lost their career path" or "found a better career yet" - directing them to CityU as the missing piece.
"Education is about discovery, and sometimes the first step is realizing you're ready for something new," said Britney Taylor, Marcom Manager at City University of Seattle. "These signs are a simple reminder that at CityU, your next chapter is closer than you think."
"We wanted to break through the noise of traditional education marketing by showing up in an unexpected, human way," said Andrew Gall, Executive Creative Director at Copacino Fujikado. "These posters feel like they belong in the neighborhood - which makes people actually stop and engage with them."
The tear-away posters launched across Seattle November 19th and will remain up through January 5th.
