Mondlicht Studios was thrilled to create animations for new Panerai Radiomir watches. The history of the legendary Radiomir timepieces goes back to 1935 when the first prototype was developed by Giuseppe Panerai for the Italian Royal Navy to be used for diving during underwater missions. Mondlicht was tasked to create three videos for the Radiomir Quaranta, Radiomir Otto Giorni and Radiomir Annual Calendar Goldtech™, highlighting the historical connection to the heritage of the series.
By combining imagery of the Eilean, the legendary yacht built in 1936 and restored between 2006 and 2009 for Angelo Bonati, CEO and the man behind Panerai for almost 20 years, the beautiful connection of the heritage of Panerai Radiomir and the latest additions to the timepieces was achieved.
Over the past decades the reputation of the Panerai Radiomir series has grown. With their exceptional functionality, reliability and precision, they are a favorite among divers, collectors and watch connoisseurs. We’re incredibly proud to become a part of this collection and work on the animations for the legendary brand.
