Posti Group Finland is rethinking last-mile logistics by introducing skateboard deliveries in urban centers — a low-emission, agile solution designed to make everyday life smoother. As part of an ongoing effort to develop fossil-free transportation, the company is piloting this new delivery model in Helsinki, Turku, Tampere, and Jyväskylä throughout the summer.

Through the OmaPosti app, customers can now choose “skateboard delivery” for home shipments. Packages arrive at the doorstep at a scheduled time — efficiently, quietly, and without emissions.

The pilot is led by professional skateboarder Marius Syvänen, who brings international street-level insight into redefining how goods move through cities.

By merging urban mobility culture with logistics, Posti is exploring how unconventional thinking can lead to more sustainable and human-centered delivery solutions.
