To build a great city, you start with the toughest foundation known — natural cement from limestone found in the Widow Jane Mine in Rosendale, NY. The very bedrock that built some of New York’s greatest landmarks — the Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, and Grand Central Station, to name a few. To build a great whiskey, Widow Jane starts in the same place — with the pure, limestone filtered waters that flow through and beneath the mine. And because their whiskeys are made in Brooklyn, no other spirits are as much a part of New York as Widow Jane. It’s a simple, powerful and fascinating story and we’re proud to be the ones to help bring it to the world.
