Description
Monday was United Nation’s International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. Finland is the 2nd most dangerous country for women in Europe when it comes to experiencing violence, according to a study conducted by the EU. Nearly half of all women over the age of 15 have experienced physical abuse in Finland.
Nollalinja, a Finnish nationwide free-of-charge helpline for anyone who has experienced violence or a threat of violence in a close relationship decided that the Havis Amanda statue could serve as an important reminder of domestic violence. This is why the statue now wears a neck brace.
This professional campaign titled 'Neck Brace' was published in Finland in November, 2019. It was created for the brand: Nollalinja, by ad agency: TBWA.
