“Live Ramadan” explores a lesser-seen aspect of the holy month: the lives of people who are exempt from fasting. Travellers, nursing mothers, and those who are unwell are permitted not to fast during Ramadan, yet they remain deeply connected to the spirit of the month.

The film follows these individuals through the course of a day—from Suhoor before dawn to the evening hours—showing how they quietly live and experience Ramadan in their own ways. Through small everyday moments, it portrays the compassion and understanding extended by those around them.

By focusing on those who cannot fast, the film expands the narrative of Ramadan beyond the act of fasting itself, highlighting that devotion during the month can take many forms.
