Description
This month the SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) and its Creative AOR R&R partners launched a campaign that addresses a unique problem. How do you communicate to an isolated, remote community the astonishing lengths an Alaskan healthcare provider will go to keep them healthy?
The resulting work, centering on a series of documentary shorts, turns the lens toward the people, culture, and realities that define healthcare in one of the most remote regions in the country.
The campaign builds on the foundation established in 2025, reinforcing the perception that SEARHC is inclusive, community-invested, and trustworthy, with focus on quality of care close to home.
In a category often dominated by polished, overly simplified narratives, R&R and SEARHC are leaning further into authenticity, telling real stories from the people who live and work across Southeast Alaska, where access to care is often shaped by geography, weather, and distance.
The campaign gives a voice to those who have built their Southeast Alaska community through honoring culture and deepening the bonds that make us stronger. The goal was to acknowledge that health is more than medicine — it’s rooted in culture, story, and belonging.
“In a region like Southeast Alaska, credibility comes from authenticity, not polish,” said Leatha Merculieff, Senior Executive Vice President of SEARHC. “R&R Partners helped us embrace that by putting real voices and real experiences at the center of this campaign. The result is work that reflects not just the care we provide, but the community we’re proud to be part of.”
The new work highlights the lengths SEARHC goes to deliver high-quality care close to home, even when that means traveling by boat, plane, or across vast rural terrain.
It also captures the people behind that commitment from healthcare workers who go beyond in both dedication and miles, and community members who have chosen to stay, serve, and build their lives in the region.
This professional campaign titled 'Kids Who Came Home' was published in United States in April, 2026. It was created for the brand: SEARHC, by ad agency: R&R Partners. This Film and Integrated media campaign is related to the Health industry and contains 9 media assets. It was submitted 15 minutes ago.
