Description
“FROM THE 70s FOR THE 70th ANNIVERSARY
Puma and McCann Peru celebrate the 70th anniversary of Club Sporting Cristal with the launch of a special-edition jersey inspired by the iconic design worn by the team in the historic 1970 Peruvian Championship final, where a magical second half crowned the club as national champions.
The launch is accompanied by an emotional film produced by Señor Z and directed by Bacha and Chinón. The film tells the magical story of that legendary final in an epic way, brought to life by the team’s coaching staff and real players.
According to Charlie Tolmos, McCann's CCO: "It's incredible when all the ingredients come together: a great story to tell, sports stars, and a wonderful brand."
In the words of Bacha, one the film's directing duo: "Our goal with this project was to capture the essence of the original story and tell it in a way that resonates with the team's fans, but also with everyone who loves football."
The film features local football stars such as team captain Yoshimar Yotún, Ian Wisdom, and Gustavo Cazonatti, as well as historic figures from the club and the Peruvian national team, including Julio César Uribe, Julinho, and Jorge Soto
