While Florida’s nursing workforce is expanding, only 7.2% of nurses in the state are under age 30. This raises concerns about the long-term sustainability of the profession as retirements increase in the coming years.
To appeal to that younger demo and drive fresh interest, enter “For Every Need, There’s A Nurse,” a new campaign from the Florida Center For Nursing and agency Chernoff Newman designed to reveal the profession’s many paths and possibilities — and push against existing, stifling stereotypes of what a career in nursing looks like.
Timed to coincide with National Nurses Week (May 6-12), the high-energy campaign runs on connected TV, streaming radio, digital and social media.
