Description
Creative agency McKinney, Voices of Alzheimer’s, and the VoA Foundation have partnered together for a powerful new campaign to highlight the importance of early testing and detection following a recent study exploring how early detection of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias can improve outcomes for those affected.
The new animated campaign, titled “Check, Mate,” tells the story of two friends (and Chess buddies) whose bond is tested as cognitive decline begins to erode their shared memories, capturing the emotional toll of memory loss through mixed-media animation. “Check, Mate” was created pro bono by McKinney and Nathan Love (animation) to encourage those over the age of 65 to undergo regular baseline cognitive screenings. The work will debut around World Alzheimer’s Day, September 21, 2025, across VoA’s website and social platforms.
This professional campaign titled 'Check, Mate' was published in United States in September, 2025. It was created for the brand: Voices of Alzheimer’s, by ad agencies: CYLNDR Studios, McKinney, and Nathan Love. This Film medium campaign is related to the Health industry and contains 1 media asset.
