Description
A casino for children would never go unnoticed on the high street. Inside a video game, gambling-like mechanics are much easier to miss.
For the Danish Gambling Authority, we created Casino Kids: fictional casino storefronts in Denmark’s three largest cities, openly promising gambling for children of all ages.
What looks outrageous in a shop window can look like harmless entertainment on a child’s screen. Loot boxes, card packs and skin betting suddenly became easier to recognise when presented in the visual language of a casino.
By bringing a hidden digital issue into a familiar physical setting, Casino Kids gave parents a reason to stop, react and reconsider what their children were playing.
The stores were fictional. The problem behind them was real.
