In Milan, BYD demonstrates its Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability by removing the gap between product and communication. A BYD ATTO 2 DM-i is physically connected to an outdoor billboard and powers it in real time. No metaphor. No simulation. Just the product doing the job. The logic is simple: instead of showing the car inside the ad, the car becomes the energy source of the ad. V2L, available across the BYD range, enables up to 3 kW of external power supply. Here, that capability is used to run the communication itself. The reveal at the bottom of the empty billboard makes the system explicit: “Where is the car? It’s below. Powering this billboard.” A demonstration disguised as advertising , or advertising made unnecessary by demonstration.
