Break the Silence

School: The University of Alabama

The two rebellious boys next door are trapped in a modern day silent film. How many crazy antics will it take for them to escape?

The Quiet Challenge: We’re challenging suburban visitors in big cities to spend 30 minutes in the world’s quietest anechoic chamber room for the chance to win a JBL Party Box. If participants can beat the world record of 67 minutes in silence, they will receive a $10,000 grand prize.

Description

The JBL PartyBox is a portable powerhouse for epic sound and lights. With Bluetooth, a rechargeable battery, and mic/guitar inputs, it’s the ultimate party companion. Get ready to turn up the volume and escape the stillness. Our campaign invites silence haters who resent the stillness of the suburbs to indoctrinate their community by waging a war against silence.
