Both& Apparel marks Trans Day of Visibility

Agency: Wongdoody

Description

Both& Apparel, the trans masc fashion label, is launching an empowering ad campaign to coincide with Trans Day of Visibility on Friday 31 March, created by the human experience agency WongDoody.

Breaking on high-profile OOH sites in New York, London and Paris to promote Both&’s new denim range, the campaign pays homage to Calvin Klein’s iconic 1990s ads featuring Kate Moss and Mark Wahlberg, shot by Herb Ritts.

For Both& Apparel, however, it’s three trans masc men – models Tai Hattingh, Arthur Macnair and Ethan Denadai – who feature front and centre. Wearing the brand’s jeans and appearing both topless and in classic Both& white tees, the models pose for a series of stills, as well as a film.

The campaign was shot by Lydia Garnett, a non-binary photographer based in London who has worked for brands including Nike, Stonewall and England’s Lionesses. WongDoody also collaborated with trans icon Daniel Sea, known internationally for playing Max on The L Word, who acted as Executive Creative Director of the shoot.

This professional campaign titled 'Both& Apparel marks Trans Day of Visibility' was published in United States in March, 2023. It was created for the brand: Both&, by ad agency: Wongdoody. This Integrated medium campaign is related to the Fashion industry and contains 1 media asset. It was submitted over 1 year ago.
