PROBLEM:
People love adopting puppies. They’re cute and you can raise them the way you want to. Unfortunately, the same love isn’t given to older dogs. While senior dogs deserve to live their final years in a loving home, sadly that’s often not the case. Animal shelters are filled with senior dogs, and they’re often the last adopted. In fact, it is 75% more difficult for a senior dog to get adopted over a puppy.

OPPORTUNITY:
November 11th is Veterans Day, and it's also adopt a senior dog month.

IDEA: We will give senior dogs the honor and recognition they deserve, just like we do with veterans, by creating a PETERANS campaign highlighting their accomplishments. Showcasing why they’d be the perfect hero to potential adopters’ families.
