Description
IT company Span unveils a new brand identity built to do what few brands dare: show its work in real time. Conceived with Bruketa&Zinic&Grey, the identity’s centerpiece is the Priority Star, a live, data driven signal that visualizes cybersecurity alerts and support activity in real time. Instead of promises, Span now presents proof, turning around the clock vigilance into a recognizable design language that never sleeps.
Every single day, an unseen battle unfolds in the digital realm. Millions of cyber-attacks occur silently and constantly, while countless user support requests demand immediate attention. Span ensures this chaos remains unnoticed and that its clients’ businesses stay secure, 24/7. But how do you communicate constant protection and care? How do you showcase invaluable work that is, by its very nature, invisible?
In a screen first era, a brand identity should be alive. Span’s identity is linked to the Security Operations Center and 24/7 IT support, displaying security alerts and active user support tickets in real time, updated every ten minutes. One hundred forty-four intervals connect within a circular infographic called Priority Star, which visually represents the past twenty-four hours at a glance.
When you arrive at work in the morning, the identity at the entrance tells you what the night has been like. While you work, it is present on your screen. Across all digital applications, you can see Span’s commitment to clients in real time. Even on static media, the identity bears witness to a specific moment, transforming proposals, reports, and business cards into time stamped artifacts of service.
“For our clients, trust is everything,” said Iva Repac, Brand and Communications Director at Span. “Priority Star makes our commitment visible. It shifts the conversation from claims to evidence, a transparent signal that we are actively protecting and supporting them, 24/7.”
“In a screen first world, the strongest identities are alive,” said Davor Bruketa, Chief Creative officer at Bruketa&Zinic&Grey. “With Priority Star, data becomes design. We translated Span’s day and night protection into a clear, legible pulse of service that clients can see at any moment.”
Engineered as a modular web component, Priority Star is built for performance, clarity, and consistency. It is embedded on the corporate site as live proof of work, deployed internally as a screensaver, and outputs static assets for print and presentations. Robust typographic and color standards ensure accessibility and contrast, and motion is tuned for instant comprehension without fatigue. The refreshed logo integrates elements from the previous sign, preserving brand memory while aligning to a living, screen first system.
The rebrand reflects Span’s position as a multi specialist across cybersecurity, cloud, and AI, unifying its presence with a single living element that is perpetually current. It is grounded in values ahead of time, care, and honesty and transparency, and it delivers on the brand promise We get IT, so clients do not have to choose between security, speed, and competitiveness.
With more than thirty years on the market, over eight hundred fifty experts, and more than one million successfully resolved incidents, Span shifts the conversation from promises to evidence. Utterly transparent, the identity builds trust with enterprise buyers and empowers employees by giving them tangible proof of their continuous work.
We have not just created a new logo, we have made who we are and how we operate visible. Span. We get IT.
