For suicide prevention week and the first ever #988 Crisis Line Awareness Day, we took our activation to the campuses. In colleges and universities in the United States, suicide is the second most common cause of death among students. Roughly 12% or 24,000 of college students reported attempted suicide during their first four years in college. 65% of college students reported that they knew someone who has either attempted or died by suicide, but admit they didn't know how to help. So we took our activation to the campus installing our Prevent Memorials around campus in high traffic areas that are sure to be noticed.
The disruption helped us gain awareness for the “No Judgment. Just Help.” 24/7 crisis hotline.
