what's the point of the top part?

i feel like there are 2 jokes, 2 messages going on.. can someone clarify it for me?

Would have thought it's pretty obvious. The first is an example of what you might say without time to think, the second is an example of what you’d with time to think.

ah ok, thx

yea, it *is* obvious. i lost sight of the product and started thinking that one generally wants a QUICKER reaction when theyre met with a tricky road situation, and started reading the ad backwards.

anyway, i revert back to my first criticism, the punchline, "me neither" is pretty boring, could be funner, wittier.
(still a lovely campaign though)

sometimes these kind of adverts where they try to make "a sequence out of cold shots" may result confusing when you may get more than one idea as a result (eg.
However here the idea is quite clear and simple here, I'd rather say. Well done.
