then why don't you direct us to links that actually show the work you're referring to? you're annoying
I don't mean to be harsh, but are you serious? You really need links to prove to you that a product interacting with the type in a seemingly real newspaper article has been done before? Wow. You must be new to advertising. It's been done many, many times. Where is joelapompe when you need him?
That said, I still like the ads. I'm always a fan of using the medium creatively, despite the fact it has been done several times.
A) I may be annoying. But that doesn't change the fact that I am right.
B) It has never been my job to supply links. It never will.
C) If you want links to tell you that playing around with newspaper copy to demonstrate product claims has been done before, you 1) should go find them yourself and 2) are still new to/in advertising

done... but also, it would have been stronger if the newspaper story was generic.
forcing it into a "home owners want power tools" product statement was a terrible decision.
not new, but very well done. A random consumer would notice and probably like it.
