They say that with sears glasses one would be able to find out what others couldn't see with other glasses. It's pretty clear for me.

This is absolutely the most insane optical campaign I've seen. The only ad that I find ok in the set is the clover one. This one, on the other hand, is just ... I can't find the right word. So what you are trying to say with this visual is that with sears glasses one would be able to find out what caused presumably this fire? A burnt match? Why would you want to associate the brand with any tragedy in the first place? The ad is too dark, depressing. It denotes a tragedy, a devastation of some sort. Terrible idea.

I love ad ideas, especially those that push the envelope, but I have to confess...
I'm really getting a kick out of atb's 'one-star' comments. :)

Cool campaign. Funny, because this is my favorite execution. To me, it's clear that this is never about a tragedy but the benefit of having great eyesight.

So what's the meaning of the burnt match here?

Vis a vis the ad in your post, I've seen it, and yes I like it. A blatant ripoff sadly.

Very clear to me. The unfindable clue that started the fire. I think it tells a better story than the two others.
