What an utterly bizarre series. I liked it, and I'm not even sure why, because on the surface, it's borderline offensive as all hell. But the model looks like he's having a blast, which mitigates it and actually got me to visit the website, something I rarely do. Nice job.

okay, the main character is small -- i think we all get that. we can also read that small is better. now, if the client is an online electronics store, then exactly why in the world has small become better? true, smaller companies are generally more maneuverable, but they tend to lack the resources required to fill large numbers of orders. i'd rather have what i've ordered already be in stock so it's promptly shipped. the underdog positioning here doesn't work for me.

What does it has to do with electronics? it could work for any small size company then!

that's true, but in this case is 'small' really better? for an electronics retail store, i feel that 'small' stores are at a disadvantage. the word 'small' for me has a negative connotation, at least for this type of client. if they positioned the store as 'agile' or better yet 'quick' then that might prompt me to use their site, but 'small' feels like they're just looking for a handout. take pity on us, we're 'small.'

the insight is lame an predictable. but the execution is weird which makes the ad - just in this case - not worse.

OK, the website is some sort of eBay offering the lowest price for all sorts of gadgets and products, so what the bl**dy h*ll is this campaign about???

And, ¿why exactly is small better? I can´t see that in the ad, and I can´t see that in the website.

This is a mess. First off, the model isn't a small person, he was made that way with the magic of bad Photoshop (more noticeable on the rugby version). I think the connection with "small" is that the site offers smaller prices on electronics. Why is small better? Because he'll get to the 500 euro before the tall guy? This would make a lot more sense if he was looking up a woman's skirt, then it would be better to be small. In a nutshell, this campaign is a failure and makes no sense.

I think, therefore... yeah.

Never mind the upskirt thing, I see there's one like that in the series and it actually makes sense.

And no, I'm not crazy. I did reply to my own comment.

It's absolute garbage.

Midget advertising - the last resort for hack creatives.

for baseline, small cant be better, cos he's got shorter legs as a small man plus, this ad doesnt do the job, i guess the other one with the skirt does.ths would have done better if they were by a coin-operated crossbar of a railway terminal and they both dont have coins, the shorty goes under and the tallie cant.
