There was an award-winning print ad with a photo of a large green leaf (against a white background, OF COURSE) with a lot of holes and chewd up edges created by a bunch of tiny little yellow insects on it.
But on close examination, you realize those are in fact yellow bulldozers and backhoes "destroying" the leaf (the rainforest.)

It's still one of my favorite "save the trees" ads ever created. I remember it was done by a Singapore agency several years ago.

pretty cool work, but what am i supposed to do -- cut a check? i wish there were some results to prove that the money isn't wasted (if they're on the site, i can't read them). just my two cents on what might make this stronger, and again, good work.

it reminds me of the ad where the layout is almost exactly like that only that ad had dead fish floating at the top edge..
