Wtf what? It's so simple a fifth grader would get it. People doze off, (sometimes) start dreaming. The unicorn depicted here is to denote a state of dreaming.. Nice ads.

Hm I thought the unicorn was perhaps some painting on the wall or they where witching channels - seems like a great idea, that does leave some different impressions here though (looking at the comments).

I blame the sleeping on the bike race he/she's watching, not the comfort level of the couch. I agree though, it is pretty hard to get. Maybe make the square into more of an eye shape? or Add a closing eyelid?

After reading the comments, I get it. But realistically, I think maybe one in a hundred consumers will get what they're trying to say. The problem is that they're trying to contrast TV with dreamlike images. TV in and of itself can be very dreamlike. So it comes across more as if they're flipping through channels.
