I like it, but doesn't exactly speak to the "everyman" (unless everyone there rocks a gallardo).

Retouching makes the car look like a toy, rather than an actual car stuck in an actual pothole.

lo que sucede aquí es que en guayaquil las calles están hechas en una mierda y son una porquería, entonces tener un carro bajito no te sirve por eso mejor conviene tener un 4x4, pero en mi opinión yo me compraria una volqueta porque las calles están cada vez hechas más mierda

Hi Goblin,

The ad is basically saying that anyone in Ecudor without a Land Rover is likely to get stuck in all the pot-holes there.
As everyone living in Ecudor knows the state of the roads, they should naturally want to buy a massive car (enter our hero, Land Rover) which won't get stuck in them.

Also, they can mercilessly crush any sports cars which get in their way.

estupidos porque landrover siempre te vende aventura extrema, no aventura en una ciudad llena de baches.
ademas, ese pensamiento o insigth de necesitas una 4x4 para una ciudad asi, esta super gastado!!!!!!

= what happens here is that in guayaquil the streets are made/built bad out of trash; so, having a small car doesn't help you, this is why you prefer having a 4X4; but in my opinion i would buy a truck because the streets get worse than they did before.

Agree that this isn't the best creative solution, but it still works.

I'm still not an advocate for Land Rovers in cities though. You know in some countries *cough*UK*cough*, you can buy spray-on mud for your Land Rover so it looks like you go "off road". Pricks.

Esto esta horrible, no se como dejaron que saliera...

Primero se ve muy mal, el trabajo en disenio podria ser mejor.

Segundo, el copy "we know were we live" habla como si nosotros mismos estamos publicitando la marca y no la marca a nosotros. Debio de ser "we know where YOU live", pues la marca es que quiere que YO compre aquella 4x4...

Tercero, esto me hace pensar que necesito un 4x4 no un land rover...

Creo que el concepto es bueno, pues va a la necesidad y mas en un pais donde se necesita. Pero sinceramente creo que en 2 mins dijeron "tengo una idea!!!!" y hicieron esto...
