Sorry guys. The idea has already been done for Pizza Hut. Same idea: to use a known movie location and adding an external element into it to sell (rent) a product.
The original added a delivery guy and won a silver lion in 2005 (so it actually was a good idea). Sorry again, but a different logo doesn`t make a different idea.

yeah, the pizza hut idea has nothing to do with the blockbuster other than the use of the psycho house. wtf. the blockbuster stuff is fresh and great. spare us with the "i've seen this before" nonsense. you'd be the first to put it in your book.

I like the concept behind this campaign, but I think they could have chosen better locations. I´ve watched Kill Bill lots of times and I wouldn´t realize this is the wedding church if it wasn´t for the title posted by ivan.

No I`m not, besides obviously this campaign is yours or of the agency you work in.
Let`s explain pizza hut`s campaign brefly: Movie locations that in wich you put a delivery guy to say pizza for movies.
Let`s explain blockbuster`s campaign briefly: Same movie locations as Pizza Hut`s campaign but instead of the delivery guy you put a for rent sign to say movies for rent.
The idea's basses stand on the resource of adding the brand`s identity to the movie site (delivery and rental), so it's the same thing.
Would a campaign of soccer teams logos made as studies to speak about violence in stadiums be the same thing as Grande Reportgem flags campaign?

pizza hut wasnt about movie locations, it was about movie SCENES.
big difference. their line was PART OF HOME MOVIES. as in, part of the scene of home movies.
this is talking about LOCATIONS - for rent. so its relevant to blockbuster.
clearly different.

Besides "psycho" is the olnly one that works, maybe the "exorcist" also, that is part of pizza hut`s campaign too.

mmmmmm with my 107 years of advertising experience i think that blockbusters is a little too much the same. I think that the argument from yuri is right.
The ads are twins of diferents families, that is not posible.

The campaign youre saying says that Pizza Hut its part of the home movies.
The delivery guy is just in one ad "Psycho".
The other two are original movie scenes but, with a pizza.
"The Graduate" and "Singing in the Rain"
Not even close to the pizza campaign.
You`re so wrong. This is nice and fresh work.

Great idea! But not enough thoughts.
But I have 2 questions here.. except the Star Wars ad, I recognized none of them as part of a movie scene/place... if there isn't the title Kill Bill on top of the ad, I think most of us here will know nuts about it.

Block Buster movie for rent... at where? (unless this is in-store posters)
I believe they will win a Lion or something home, if only they put in more thoughts in this campaign, they could have win bigger... kinda wasted for the idea I feel.

Jajajaja entretenida campaña, me parece simpatica sobre todo cuando un aviso logra generar una sonrisa, eso ya es un punto a favor...Mmmm eso si tiene un dejo a lo de pizza hut (mas que nada en el uso de las tomas de las peliculas) pero es solo un cameo nada mas...Ademas lo bueno es que aca permite a uno recordar (casi como una trivia) exactamente esas peliculas lo que hace entretenido el aviso y la idea...El concepto eso si es un poco literal a lo que hace realmente blokbuster pero la forma como es llevado es lo que lo hace diferente a lo que uno espera...Muy buena pieza...
