Plus points for new approach and original idea. But this doesn't motivate me to learn a new language. It just makes me think that it will take centuries before these languages could become major (and we know they won't). And there's really no need for me to learn them then.

Crazy. It has totally the opposite effect to that desired. Unless of course this is reverse psychology and it is promoting English language learning? Which it does. Ditto with Mandarin.

Stupid idea - The insight is really bad, because English or Mandarin or Spanish took, indeed, centuries to become widespread. So it's a good argument to being Dutch now.
