Description:

What’s the matter, dummy? Can’t you talk?
United way is like a barrier. It keeps bad things away from good people. Like Heidi. She's not teased for her autism. Because Heidi can speak just fine, thanks to a speech-therapy program funded by United Way of Greenville County. Your gift could help someone just like her.
Because it happens here, it matters here.

These series of ads are consistant with a solid idea. However, i feel as though the imagery has let it down a little, especially the police tapes. If it is meant to be a barrier it should be more protective- "do not cross", draws assupmtion to police, homocide, crime scene, which has nothing to do with the organisation, maybe a different choice of representation? Other than that, stunning photography, the lighting really brings out the innocence in the subjects.

The photogrpahy is pretty, but it would be good if there were a bit more of an idea here. United Way is such fertile ground it's a shame the creative isn't more interesting. Just a pretty picture here I'm afraid - and a cute kid. Nothing more.

Cute kids do not good advertising make. Photos are nice. Otherwise - pretty boring and generic.
