coz it's too narrow to express the hopes and emotions that were invested in the product. what they wanted to show wasn't an actual possibility to create a cool painting on the fridge, but rather the things that the brand or product stands for - modernity and creativity. a CHANCE that you CAN be like someone (banksy...) even if you're probably too lazy to actually try. it's not worldbraking or anything, but when i see an ad that makes me go "what a cool company" rather than "what a cool agency" i think it's all on the right rails.

p.s. another reason - probably coz the fridge would look pretty ugly with a graffiti on it...

That would be too stright then. The visual's playing on the line 'for those who like to express themselves'. The connection to the product is the theme of the grafitti - food!

It's a nice campaign, in my opinion.
