Ads like these are the reason why people think of advertising as one of the most untrusted and unlikeable trades. Suggesting that these clearly anorexic women are completely perfect except for their faces is a low low road of a creative solution that demeans women and perpetualizes the notion that the fashion and beauty industry is partly to blame for body image issues and all the destructive behaviours around it. Absolutely disgusting. I don't know what's worse. The creative team that dreamed up this crap. Or the client who bought it.

Bulldog45, I agree with your comments. Except about the client. Because I'm quite sure this shit never ran. It would be hugely detrimental to the brand. Just another attempt at winning awards. But if the agency in question would like to prove me wrong, please port the media schedule here for all to see.
