I dislike this set. Maybe it's the harsh, smartass lines playing against the basically unprepossessing images. Per formula, that's the kind of incongruity that is supposed to shock a laugh from the reader. But I think, instead, the overriding savor of the creative for this set is 'twee urban hipster copywriter' versus 'earnest, hardworking frontiersman'. So a contrast or tension that's supposed to make you laugh is contravened by something arising accidentally from the material and it's handling. These wind up disgusting you.

Agreed. Total Rip Off of Timberland. Someones getting sued. Also, it doesn't even make sense because theres no woman in the pic. At least there doesn't appear to be.

I'm not sure what the "woman" connection is. There's no women in the photo and the whole ad isn't clearly geared to men. Big disconnect between the copy and design. I think this is just a case of shoe-horning borrowed copy into an ad. It doesn't fit at all.
