I like it. I think the pencil backs help to add needed context. They do not 'ruin' the ad by any means.

Let's agree with disagree. If you don't get these are pencils, the ad doesn't work. Smart touch playing with the opacity on the back of the pencil. Still not a great ad.

Well, I will agree with minas for a change. If they forget the back and "zoom in" it would be still obvious these are two pencils.
