Nope. Ale. I mean, we don't even know what the ale looks like. Just supposedly a hint of the branding.

Coole art direction. Im guessing its about what men discuss when they drink? Although i disagree with tie not keeping you warm, it does.

As design, it's nice. As an ad, meant to sell beer, or at least get me to consider the brand in some form or fashion, it fails miserably.

Also, I can't wait until we're past this "lock all the type up into a tight shape" phase.

I love 4 Pines' beers, but really dislike these ads. Designed to be thought-provoking, they're just a lot of words and fancy fonts saying absolutely nothing. I like the idea of "real thought" for drinkers of "real beer" because us beer snobs are snobs in all kinds of ways. That's why if you're going to aim this high, you'd better make that text really interesting.
