I disagree so much, it's almost painful.

Electric Six is a most fantastic Detroit band and this is an insanely awesome song.

They are also behind the music of White Gold.

I saw them in concert a few months back with only 25 people or so in the room, very disappointing turnout. They are suddenly very popular, it seems, I hope it holds for them.

Finally saw the spot on TV today 2 times in the last 20 min or so. I can say it is an awesomely fun ad, but is it just me or did everyone else forget WHAT car it was for. Could be me, I do have a horrible memory.

Damn near perfect. Clear strategy, solid execution. Outstanding production. Wouldn't be as good with less cheesy music.

Question to WaZoo: Simple can't be gold? Why?

This ad definitely deserved the award it received for creativity. Not only was it hilarious and enjoyable to watch, but I am certain that I will remember the essence of this advertisement for quite some time. I think my favorite aspect is that they took an idea that is well known and altered it to add more enjoyment for the audience. Everyone has seen videos, images or movies that have girls in skimpy bikinis washing cars. While this might be good at targeting a certain audience, by taking a twist and making them Japanese sumo wrestlers, they have added to the variety of people who would find this product appealing. Set aside all of that, it is just an extremely creative idea. I was definitely laughing while I watched it and enjoyed the entire 60 seconds, which is more time than I give to most commercials on television.
They did a really good job of selling the car on top of the creativity given to the ad. There was a certain spot where they washed over the Subaru logo and in that second I knew exactly which company the ad was for. Also, even though the ad focused on the sumo wrestlers, it took place around a center piece, their product. Subaru did a great job of presenting the product, appealing to the audience and creating an image in their minds. I’d say this is one of the more successful advertisements I have seen in a while.
