This commercial won me over.

Great USP, beautiful effects and a wonderful job by all of the creative team.
I love the visuals, the fairy tale atmosphere, the image of hushed people moving by. It reminds me in a way, of the TV series "Once Upon a Time".

I love the whimsical ending shot and the overall concept - how DOW positioned itself away from the corporate giant image, how DOW is all of a sudden even a friend. (It manufactures the chemicals in your bread but is still a friend)

This ad, is one of the great examples of what we do. We change peoples perspectives. DOW has a slogan on its site: "The more we talk together, the more we solve together".

When was the last time you could talk to a megacorp? Now you can.

Great usage of the word solutionism BTW.

Dow, with this campaign, is doing a great job projecting themselves as a friendly company that cares.

I love the phrase Solutionism. The new optimism.

From start to finish, a brilliant film. The silent train is a superb concept. That it is Dow Chemicals makes me a bit uneasy but maybe that's just me. Execution doesn't amaze is as much as it should. Probably cause Playstation, Adidas and others have pampered us :)

WOW VERY NICE JOB
But I DONT LIKE DOW BCZ

Dow took over the US-based company Union Carbide, which held a majority share in the Indian subsidiary that operated the Bhopal pesticide plant, in 2001. Union Carbide paid $470 million (£288 million) in compensation in 1989. But survivors' and human rights groups believe this was inadequate. They have been campaigning for Dow to address outstanding demands and the ongoing impacts of the disaster, such as site cleanup.

The demonstrators object to the International Olympic Committee's 10-year deal with Dow, who in 2001 became owners of the firm that caused one of the worst industrial disasters in India, when nearly 4,000 people were killed by a gas leak at the Union Carbide plant.
An estimated 45,000 others were said to be affected by the emission of poisonous gas at the site in Bhopal, which has caused cancer, disability and renal failure.

You know what’s funny about this ad?

Most of us are pro science, but also anti mega corporation.

Thus Dow Chemical really puts us in a bind.

Good commercial? Yes.

Good company…?
