This ad really caught my attention because of the way they introduced it and I quickly related it to the Coca-Cola ad where they give things away out of the machine. When the hoop finally gets built and related to the app it makes sense to what they’re doing and how it promotes the lottery. I like how there is no pretext and how the hoop looks exactly the same as the one that was there before. When the people start playing ball and realizing pennies are coming out it really grabs their attention and makes the connection to the ball causing money to come pouring out. Then watching the reaction of the people when they start getting all the money (like they won the lottery) kind of gives you that feeling of excitement like you want to play and win like they did. My only question to this ad would be, did the people in the ad know what it was for or was it just randomly filmed and they left not knowing exactly why they got a bunch of cash for no reason. All in all I think the ad was really effective for the viewers and made me want to go get a lottery ticket.
