Ha, I doubt that.. As far as I see the last fire they used as reference (Tokyo) was in 1923.
Love it, order me a set!

Didn't people die in those fires? That's exactly what I want to think about when I'm resting my elbow on the mantle and swirling a cognac.

The concept of a visual on the burning log is interesting...but not sure about that visual specifically.

When I grab my glass of wine and my book to sit beside a fireplace the last thing I want to remember are such tragedies that killed thousands of people. Don't get me wrong, I see that there's an idea behind all that but seriously, you don't want to mess with this kind of History when it comes to happy moments. Remember the 9/11 ad for WWF? So...

I don't think that this is disrespectful, disgusting or whatever. It reminds people that fire is a powerful thing.
So i'm think more on the line of "we shall never forget" then "Ha-ha" - Nelson

But then again that is what pretests are for ;-).
