Handlebars Calendar 2010

Agency Network:
December 2010

Challenge: Harley-Davidson Numero Uno Milan wanted the 2011 calendar to be the most amazing, something that really describes Harley-Davidson’s world and feelings.

Idea: We didn’t simply create a calendar, we created a trip experience. We gave our calendar handlebars, landscapes, people’s reactions and a subjective point of view, just to let people imagine the experience of riding a Harley-Davidson for 365 days and get them to realize that a Harley-Davidson is the best point of view you can choose.

Not bad for a calendar but that handle is so ugly, looks like an exercise tool. Why did you think that part was necessary? Perspective and speedometer are enough to send through the first-person experience message. Moreover, nobody is going to act like a fool even in his own apartment to grab that handle on the poster.

Couldn't agree more.

The handle is the most representative part of a motorcycle, the thing that connects you with the machine... so if you want to recreate the experience, the speedometer is not enough... i think. It's just not another calendar about landscapes..right?

Great. Where can I order one?... yep, that's what I thought. Scam.

Agree with Dzsoi. Would have been heaps cheaper without the bar too.

One of those quasi-interactive ideas where seeing the handles bars is enough. Like it.
