Sherwin-Williams Digital Ad -  Chip It!



Now with just the click of a button, any online image can turn into a palette of paint colors, with Chip It!, an interactive tool created by McKinney for Sherwin-Williams. The first-of-its-kind Web-based tool allows consumers to select any online image and instantly identify the Sherwin-Williams paint colors that correspond to the colors contained within the picture. Consumers can now use the colors that inspire them while surfing the Internet to help make paint color selection easier — in their bedroom, bathroom, kitchen or any room in between.

home depot has a physical scanner that will match colors to a swatch, object, whatever you want, etc. that i think is more effective than this with variances in peoples screens. while a super saturated color might be what your looking for out of a picture you found online, it might be different than what you end up with.

I feel 75% happy with all the color selections they make, BUTTT with only a 10 color limit it can limit your choices.

I wish I can upload a photo as well.
