Chlamydia email

May 2007

To demonstrate the hidden nature of the Chlamydia virus, an email was send to every person on the Department of Health's database that fell into target audience (males and females aged 15 to 25). Recipients opened the email and saw nothing but a single line of text that instructed them to "Click here and drag to the top of the page."

Doing so revealed a message written in a white, which was previously invisible. It delivered a simple, relevant and stark warning about Chlamydia, and also directed the reader to a website to seek further information and arrange a test.

"Just because you cant see it, doesnt mean its not there"

.... and then there are things that you can see, you can touch, you can even smell but you wont know if its any good until you've had it!

What's not to get? It's explained pretty clearly in the description. Nice idea, but as it's basically spam I don't think I'd get as far as reading the instructions.

Been done before. For men and women who are on death row.
And earned a Silver Lion. Headline was exactly the same.
It´s a pity, because the idea is/was great...

You've got mail? No. You've got spam.

I mean look at the subject line which sounds similar to those viagra junk mails...I'll never open it.

And even if I opened it and find no content and just line at the end which says " click blah, blah" I'll never do it.

Just think about it. Take the " Could you do it?" test.

This is simply not happening as an 'email'.

Hmm I dunno...databases perhaps? You know those things that have lists of thousands of people's email address and phone numbers, etc? They're not exactly revolutionary...

Sometimes write comments instead of repeating " already done" my friends, . Especially it sounds even worse when someone already make " already done" comment and someone repeat this nothing but empty speec.
If you have something to say but " already done" please write that ones. Or shut your computer for a while ( at least it helps global warming)
