Description
On the occasion of World Water Day (22 March), we came up with this idea to tackle the problem right at the source. We created a sticker (shown in the picture) to persuade people not to drain the planet. Whenever someone came to use the tap, he/she was reminded of what might happen if the world’s water resources dried up.
Ambient advertisement created by Y&R, United Arab Emirates for Al Ain Zoo, within the category: Recreation, Leisure.
Stop draining the planet. Use water wisely.

Well intentioned, hard working metaphor, but sort of misses the mark. Wash basins do get crazed, as does a lot of ceramic stuff we see in daily life.
I like it but in the same time, i'm a bit confused here.
Dry is bad, because it means ground has no water anymore.
But, in a way, here dry is good, because it would mean that people don't waste the water.
I know what they tried to do. But when you think about it, it's not 100% logical.
And also, i'm pretty sure washing his hands in the Zoo isn't the biggest waste of water in Dubai...the zoo itself is a better problem to start with... :)
You have to be careful with the stickers, otherwise it could look just like an old, ruined tap...
Yes, my profile picture is my dog on my sister's bed, with a pillow and a blanket...
haha love the comments, like the idea but I don't think wash basins are the main problem in UAE. I lived there for 5 years and trust me there are water fountains in the middle of the desert.
