Humans have been eating eggs for about 6 million years now. There is a very interesting debate till date that which one came first - eggs or chickens? According to scientists it's the egg which came first. Humans from time immortal is having eggs, starting with eating raw eggs directly from the nests of the wild birds. Studies show that about 1.59 trillion eggs are produced daily, worldwide. Japan consumes the most eggs every year in the world today. An average Japanese eats about 320 eggs per year. While an average American eats about 278 eggs per year. Our India consumed over 2 crores eggs daily during Covid.
Doctors say it's okay to eat 1- 2 eggs every day for an adult with normal cholesterol limits. IEC is trying to increase global egg consumption to 365 per person each year.
This World Egg Day we did this campaign for Relook hotels to highlight the beneficial effects of eggs for people. We would like to point out that eggs have immense nutritional value for leading a healthy life.
The caption is a clone of a very popular Hindi movie 'Ek Duje Ke Liye' starring the great South Indian actor Kamal Hassan and Rati Agnihotri.
The imaginative visual shows eternal love between the opposite sexes.
The campaign delivers a strong social message in the disguise of intelligence and wits.
So have eggs eternally folks!
