We need you: Support Ukrainians With Cancer

After February 24th, 2022, when russia launched a full-scale invasion, the lives of Ukrainian cancer patients changed forever. Now, they are facing the challenges of two wars: one is an actual war initiated by russia. And the second is a battle against cancer.

This video was created for Inspiration Family — a Ukrainian fund that supports adult cancer survivors. It aims to shed light on the struggles of Ukrainian cancer patients. To achieve this, we decided to share the foundation's activities through the real story of a Ukrainian patient.

Meet Yulia. She is a refugee from Kherson. Her city was under occupation at the time of filming, so she relocated to Kyiv to seek safety.

Yulia is fighting brain cancer, and the war also affects her treatment. We tell her story honestly, without exaggeration. With tanks in the background and scenes unfolding in a hospital and an apartment that serves as temporary shelter, we aim to depict the harsh conditions faced by cancer patients in Ukraine. Now, when Ukraine is under massive missile attacks, we aim to remind everyone again that cancer patients have a shortage of essential medicines and limited access to hospitals and doctors.
