2019 Clio Juror: Mary Nittolo
The video is a remix for Times Square Takeover of 5 installations from The Rubin Museum’s The Future is Now exhibition (February- December 2018) The exhibition is currently at The Kochi-Muzris Biennale through March 2019.
The installations were conceived as an intervention between the source material in the Museum’s collection and original artwork by Chitra Ganesh, an artist whose work challenges rigid constructions of female sexuality and gender based power as it’s represented in storytelling and visual culture.
