We cannot deny: History is still told by great men’s achievements.

The almost absolute absence of women’s achievements in textbooks from Brazilian schools makes explicit that female historical processes are plainly ignored.

Well, if they are not in textbooks, then we put them on our looks.

THE FEMINIST GROUP PLENA PRESENTS:
TATTOOS EDUCATE.

A movement created to inquire about an important question:

Why women still get no deserved recognition in our society?

Aiming at causing this incitement, fifty women, including athletes, artists, entrepreneurs, activists, teachers and students, were challenged into tattooing an iconic woman on their bodies.

And guess what: They agreed!

After they being tattooed, there came the moment to share the results on social media.

And believe it: people failed to identify whose those faces were in the tattoos.

From this moment that the movement started to gain strength.

We immediately got into action and decided to show the public whom those inspirational women were.

Throughout sixty uninterrupted days, with social media support, we presented stories, achievements, and deeds of thirty great names from the female genre.

However, this went far beyond:

The movement was in the news, internet portals, radios shows, becoming the topic for many digital influencers.

There were hours and hours of discussion, of feminist matters, and of extensive knowledge about historical women that are not present in very many schoolbooks. But which, from this initiative, are registered forever into the memory of numerous people that did not know their stories until then.
